Addressing cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, and bringing on board sectors as diverse as pharmaceuticals, medical technology, big data and imaging, the projects exemplify IHI's cross-sector approach.

3TR project creates common standards to boost severe asthma research
The standards were developed by a multi-stakeholder group including people living with asthma as well as doctors, pharmaceutical companies, and health policymakers.

Research by IMI project reveals characteristics of ‘neglected’ lung disease
By painting a detailed picture of the lung disease bronchiectasis in different European countries, the iABC project is helping to drive new research on the disease.

Dr Niklas Blomberg named new Executive Director of IHI
