Tips and inspiration for your call 12 application – a word from our director

In January we opened IHI call 12 with a total of EUR 163 million in EU funding over 5 different topics – a fantastic opportunity for public-private collaborations to boost European innovation in health and care. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been busy with webinars and guides for applicants; you can find the webinar recordings below – do watch them and give your proposal the best chance of success.

An important part of any application is the landscape analysis – demonstrating how the proposed project goes beyond the state of the art and address an unmet need. In this month’s newsletter you will find a summary of the latest IHI projects – the compilation is a good source of information.

Strong public-private partnerships aim to leave a lasting impact on the landscape. This month we can read about projects that aim, in different ways, to do just that: drive lasting change for Europe. The new project BRIDGE will develop a European regulatory sandbox – a great example of how industry and public organisations can work together to ensure that Europe remains a great place for the development of innovative health solutions. Health connects us all, and any lasting change needs to involve people living with disease. Here you can read how FACILITATE and UNIFIED are developing models to build engagement and participation through the better return of clinical trial data to participants and integrating patient-centric measures into the development and evaluation of health interventions.

Happy reading, and good luck with your call 12 applications!
