The final, approved version of the call text for IHI - call 13 is now available on the Future opportunities page of the IHI website. The call text was approved by the IHI Governing Board as part of the IHI amended Work Programme for 2026. The call will be officially launched in July 2026.
IHI call 13
IHI’s thirteenth call will support health innovators, reduce animal use in drug safety studies and tackle diseases related to ageing and the immune system.
For the first topic, applicants will be expected to put forward a proposal on how to build a network that could boost the next wave of European innovators in healthcare.
The second topic focuses on using AI to eliminate unnecessary animal tests from drug safety studies, while the third topic aims to identify the key biological determinants that drive healthy ageing and immune-mediated disease, focusing on how age-associated immune system remodelling shapes these outcomes.
