Tips on applying for IHI funding - a word from our director
The big news this month is the launch of IHI call 8, with four topics that tackle major challenges in Europe’s health research and innovation ecosystem – comprehensive approaches to cardiovascular care, using large-scale data to address osteoarthritis, finding new ways to put the patient at the centre of digital outcomes, and developing regulatory sandboxes for Europe’s future health innovations.
The IHI programme is designed to address challenging problems through large consortia that bring together experts from many different disciplines and sectors. The collaborative nature of our projects makes them a great place to learn from this network of experts. However, developing a multidisciplinary consortium is a difficult task, and effectively describing its strengths in a competitive proposal can be harder still. The IHI Office provides you with a range of tools to support proposal development – from partnering platforms that help you find a consortium or that missing expertise needed for the project, to info sessions and guidelines. Make use of these resources to give your proposal the best chance of success! Good luck!
