The draft topics for IHI call 11 are now available on the Future Opportunities page of the website. We publish the draft topics ahead of the call launch to give applicants extra time to start networking and preparing a strong proposal. The two-stage call is slated for launch in the coming months, and the full topic titles are:
- Understanding how infections foster and induce non-communicable diseases
- Towards precision medicine: platform for transdiagnostic stratification of brain dysfunction
- AI-powered signal detection in pharmacovigilance
- Leveraging Europe's expertise to accelerate cell therapy for type 1 diabetes
- Establishing ortho and cardiology ambulatory surgical centres in Europe
What happens next?
The topics are now under consultation with our States’ Representatives Group (SRG) and Science and Innovation Panel (SIP). The texts may therefore change considerably between the versions published today and the call launch, and applicants should check the final, approved topic texts once the calls are launched.
Nevertheless, we strongly encourage anyone interested in these topics to start preparing a proposal and get networking with potential partners.
IHI will hold info sessions on IHI call 11 around the time of the call launch; these will cover the topics and our rules and procedures.
